Les fauteuils du salon bar ne sont pas vraiment confortables. Dommage que ceux qui ne peuvent pas manger du jambon (raisons de préférences alimentaires ou médicales) se voient privés de l'omelette picarde! Le parking non surveillé (impossible d'installer une caméra?) n'est pas très rassurant. Des arbres et des bancs pour s’assoir à l'ombre en été seraient souhaitables.

This is a fantastic hotel a short walk from the centre of Albert. It is comfortable, spacious and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The quality of the breakfast is excellent and the one night we ate in the restaurant the food was delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend Royal Hotel Picardie.

owners make you feel truly welcome ! I stay at the hotel yearly for almost 10 years as i visit the somme battlefields every year. On walking distance of the center of Albert. As i travel on my bicycle, i also appreciate the facility to seal my bike safely .

Rooms are being upgraded, so there is a mix of old and new. We had 2 rooms (1 new, 1old) and both were very good and much superior to rooms in other French hotels we have stayed in. We never got the early start we had planned each day because the breakfast was so good. Allow at least an hour. Hope to return later in the year.

Our stay at le Royal Picardie was exceptional - from beginning to end the service was five star the staff ever so warm and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located to the town centre- an easy five minute walk. I will make this my home of choce in Albert!

Deborah is a wonderful host, we contacted her prior to our stay and she responded quickly and was very helpful. We stayed as part of a large group, the staff were helpful, polite and spoke English well. Our room was air conditioned, king sized comfy beds, linens very clean, daily room cleans. The hotel is a very enjoyable 10 minute walk from the main street. We ate at the hotel for dinner twice, very enjoyable French food. Breakfast was plentiful, cereal, pastries, yoghurt, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, toast,decent coffee. Highly recommend this hotel. P.s. only reason for an 8 on location is for peopke who don't like walking.

Meine Freunde und ich waren sehr zufrieden. Leider war die Bar geschlossen. Wir hätten vor dem Schlafengehen gerne noch etwas getrunken. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider war kein Lift im Haus, für uns kein Problem, aber vielleicht für ältere und behinderte Personen.
